It’s the start of the new year, which means our new year’s resolutions are in place and it’s time for a fresh start. Whether you believe in resolutions or not, here are tips to start taking better care of your skin. The start of a brand new year is the perfect time to put these tips into play. Establish a Healthy Diet: Try to incorporate foods that are high in Vitamin C such as citrus, spinach and peppers. You should also try to incorporate more protein such as eggs, lean meat, fish, nuts and beans.

Use Natural Ingredients: Make sure your skincare products contain natural ingredients such as aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. Say no to harmful chemicals!

Drink Plenty of Water: Sounds simple enough right? Make sure you’re drinking the recommended 8 glasses a day. So simple yet it goes a long way!

Cleanse Your Face: Make sure you’re cleansing your face every morning and every night before bed. Leaving makeup on overnight can clog your pores which can lead to pimples and acne.

Exercise: That’s right, you can hit two resolutions in one! Working out will get blood pumping nutrients to all the right places while removing toxins from your body which all leads to clear skin.
